Moulson doesn't help the offense either. He lucked his way into 14 goals last year. I doubt he touches 10 this year. He is by far the least valuable player on this team because he adds literally nothing to this team. He drags all of his linemates down, he's slow as hell, he's not physical. There isn't even 1 thing he does well. As soon as the puck hits his stick he's looking to get rid of it. You know if he's in the neutral zone receiving the pass, the play is over.

Simply put, he doesn't deserve to be in the NHL. At least Nolan provides energy

- jcragcrumple

Nolan can't keep the puck on his stick ever. Multiple times he turned it over when there was an odd man rush happening.

I get Moulson and his $5 million cap hit is awful, but simply put if you're trying to have at least 3 lines produce some offense Moulson is way better than Nolan. At least when it comes to moving the puck, or actually knowing what to do with it when he has it on his stick.

I don't agree. Moulson on a scoring line means that the breakout basically on has 2 forwards on it because he can't carry through the neutral zone, or get behind the D on a dump in. Nolan cam retrieve pucks on a dump in. I don't even care about Moulson's money in terms of saving a million dollars against the cap anymore, I just think he's proven he isn't an NHL player.

However, I do agree that Nolan is not a 3rd line player. He's a 4th liner/extra forward. But he's a better option than Moulson

This is flat out not true

Nolan cannot carry the puck period

Moulson can carry it or at least can make a pass with it

Especially when it was Reinhart with Moulson and Okposo that line generated a ton of chances against Boston.

Nolan is a guy who can hit and block shots, that's it.

No he can't. He receives a pass and gets rid of it immediately because he can't create space for himself.

We're gonna have to agree to disagree. I mean, at the end of the day, we're talking about two guys who have played 7 games and have 0 points and a minus rating. It's not like 1 of them drastically outperforms the other.

I just prefer the physicality that Nolan brings.

If we are talking about who is the guy to play on the 4th line and who is the guy to sit in the press box I'd sit Moulson all day.

But if you have to play both, I'd put Moulson on the 3rd

For the first time, I didn't watch the season premier. Last season was so... goofy. The trash people talked and acted like they've been isolated for 3 generations.

I like Jeffery dean Morgan, but Negan as a character is stale.

Even though it was the most absurd part, Ezekiel and the tiger were my favorite part. I'll tune back in if they start advancing the plot instead of just finding new groups to fight with

I was being sarcastic. But last nights episode was meh. It's shot with a lot of random cuts and out of order, for like no reason. It took them 30 minutes of random jumps and BS to do what they could have done in the first 10 minutes

edit: and also, the show isn't about "advancing the plot" or finding out about the zombies. It's literally just about the survival and the people. Robert Kirkman has even said they'll never reveal what caused the zombies

I'd like to see them start world building again, and maybe Ricks group meets up with a government group that survived in a fort Knox or something and they start clearing out cities. I want to see it move from apocalypse to post apocalypse, or post-post apocalypse, I guess

I mean they progress into having more of a "civilization" but don't hold your breath for any government solving the apocalypse lol

Apparently, a TWD and FTWD crossover was confirmed after the show last night.

Rampant speculation is that Abraham will play a role in "Fear".

I don't know how you would be able to follow last night's premier without having read the comics.

I heard about this awhile ago. Not to excited for it. But I didn't watch the last season of FTWD

It's so all over the place for no reason.

And the old man Rick stuff makes zero sense, especially considering it mirrors a part in the comics after the war

I did. I'm not a die hard TWD fan, so Fear doesn't annoy me as much as the others. I came into it expecting nothing more than a time killer, and that's exactly what I got so far.

I mean I don't hate it at all. I just got behind and didn't care to catch up. I saw the first 3 episodes for season 3 and a lot of stuff happened that just seemed pointless

The problem for me was that it wasn't different enough from TWD. If it were set in Europe or Australia or Japan it would have appealed to more people IMO

Edit: is it set in the ocean now? I seem to remember that being alluded to

Like when we had Sammy & Goodwin but Tyrod still averaged barely over 220yds a game & still had a horrible record with a chance to win/tie in the 4th quarter?
Not trying to bash him...
but Tyrod will never be a “franchise” QB

- jdfitz77

Tyrod plays a great game , but your positive he won't be a "franchise" qb. Go root for another football team.

I don't think Tyrod will get to the level of Brady, Rodgers, Ryan, or even Rivers.

Those are Franchise QBs.

I'll keep rooting for the Bills, though.
