But again, we need to stop this "coast for 55 minutes, then play" style.

Happy about the win but this team is awful, still. Aside from that first game against what we now know is the worst team in the league, we haven't looked good.

ROR has always been streaky like this. He takes about 5 or 6 games off, then plays like a madman for a few before doing the cycle again.

It needs to be consistent though.

This team is better on paper than their collective on-ice performance ... which is why the fan base is restless. They are simply not playing to their potential.

I don’t think there is anything wrong with fans holding their team accountable for 40 minutes of crap play because they played 22 good minutes. Good for them, but not good enough. Play 60 minutes, then you will get just praise.

I wonder if Pegula asked JB to claim Nolan as a favor for Teddy being the scapegoat here.

The Knights are a team full of A)contract year players and 2)Discarded players. Two things guaranteed to give a player all the motivation he needs to play his ass off.

That said, it's unsustainable. They will falter. The Canadiens started 10-0 and missed the playoffs. Nothing is a given in this league.
