The biggest sandy beach there might be like that during peak summer times. Even at peak times there's quieter spots on the island to go that are beautiful.

I don't generally criticise individual players on performance (I said Dorsett sucked just to piss off Don). I've criticised the signings of players like Miller but not the individual himself.

Management is a whole different story. There's no room for individual mistakes or learning on the job in the middle of an important rebuild. You teach and train management skills when the team is in a stable situation. Kind of like when Yzerman was being shown the ropes in Detroit.

I think they tried doing that with Messier in NY but he's too (frank)ing stupid to do anything but potato chip adds.

I have no problem with the bohemian lifestyle. I applaud it. But at some point you have to action your words or it's the same self serving rhetoric or just plain old fashion with no substance.

Salt spring is full of rich yuppies now.
I went to school there, only fulford is full of hippies, now Galliano, that is an island of hippies.

Also I'm trying to achieve self sufficiency. Nothing wrong with growing your own food, catching your own fish and killing your own meat.

I remember going there one year for a soccer tournament in elementary and kids would hitch hike in the back of truck beds to school. Kids never heard of many main stream fast food chains or popular daytime tv shows. Just felt like a completely secluded island that was cut off from the world.

Wonder if Guddy comes back hitting or acts cautiously and starts making mistakes second guessing.
