How did you get out?
I must know.
My wife doesn't want to leave. My choice I'm in Dallas or Phoenix.
Probably leaning more towards Phoenix. - gcomella34
I got out because I'm not from there, basically and I knew if I didn't I would die there.
But it came down to literally skipping town with a couple thousand and my Girlfriend, packing our car full of everything we owned and driving to WNY before even having an apartment lined up.
Stayed with my parents and looked for an apartment relentlessly for about a week.
It came down to Niagara Falls or Lockport and I rightfully said (frank) the Falls.
Lockport is nice. Typical suburb, blue-collar as (frank), not bad but not exceptional. Low-key and quaint. Ultimately though, too local. Worse nepotism than Binghamton, ironically. Actually. I've never encountered nepotism along the lines of Lockport. Its inner-bred.

Hopefully not the city of Lockport, cause that is not any better than the Falls.
Buffalo is a great NHL market, and a decent hockey market.
College hockey ratings are much higher in other parts of the country: Boston, Minnesota, Wisconsin, etc. - buffalofan19
College is 1 facet, but I believe our Olympic ratings are pretty stellar too. It would be interesting if we got a new empire sports network that showed local college hockey

It's funny, because on his new album, he talks about people selling out and doing things for money, fame and popularity. He slams them.
And then has a song with Rihanna on the same album that's one of the worst abominations of sound I have ever heard and a clear sell-out moment. - BeadyEyedDouche
I still love him he's one of the best rappers in this day and age that doesn't rap about (frank)ing doing drugs etc I love listening to his stories

Agreed. He's right up there with Biggie and Tupac now.
But that Rhianna song, oh my god, it was just awful.
I'm gonna chalk it up to the record company making him do it or him owing a favor.
The production alone was some of the worst I've heard. But the song didn't know what it wanted to be. Pop? Rock? Reggae? Rap? R&B? Dance? It was a mess.

After we had the discussion about him, I decided to give him another chance. And there's a few really good songs on this album

I have a feeling it's too late.
But when I finish my MBA, I'm fairly certain my education will match my experience and surpass it really, so job offers will be a bit more money now. - gcomella34
I left Buffalo 3 and a half years ago. I am ready to come back

I've been ready to go back for 20 years now. Still here.
Many reasons why I have not made the move back yet. But I do prefer the people there than the people here. Worlds different wouldn't you say Stripes? - burner087
