Kane takes most of his penalties on the forecheck because of his aggressiveness. I'm not saying he couldn't stand to take a few less, but cutting them out completely isn't possible without fundamentally changing the way he plays.

I guess I kind of meant that defensemen don't take too many penalties back checking. And he compared Kane to Risto. Which in my opinion isn't a great comparison. Simmonds takes a bunch of penalties too and they both(he and Kane) play a very similar game.

I'm trying to keep my posts a bit more succinct.
