Man, I stand by that while I would like the Leafs roster to be good enough that Polak can't crack it, I came to appreciate him last year. What is an advantage for him and Borgman in making the team is that the Leafs don't have a whole lot of heavy game players anywhere else in the lineup.

I don't want a Burkie-style team by any means but you need some heavy in the lineup. You need guys getting hit and being afraid of getting hit when guys are on the ice. This Borgman dude looks like he's gonna annihilate some guys. We don't have a lot of other guys where you can say they're gonna hardcore destroy a guy when they hit them. Notice they got Polak and the Borg in against LA.

Borgman reminds me of a young darius kasparaitis for those who remember him. If he pans out like that myself and other leaf fans will be very pleased. Theres still going to probably be some rough nights still learning the north american game but great potential there and I like what im seeing.
