it should have been a goal regardless of any incidental contact. Quick had time to get back up, and throw himself as far out of position as possible. He had time to make a save, if he was so inclined.

It may be time that Leafs Nation lets this one go.

Ya not sure what the complaining is about.

Not a big deal because we won, but Quick had ample opportunity and time to make a save on Marner. Interference or not, he clearly moved the wrong way in the 2 seconds or so that he was back on his feet and Marner deked him out of his jock stap.

Full props to Marner there. If he had shot the puck initially, there would have been no arguing that it shouldn't have counted. He waited long enough for Quick to get back up. Great bit of hockey IQ there.

Martin was happy to be steered into him - you have to make an attempt not to hit the goalie.

He even raises up his legs to cause more interference.

IMHO, no goal, no penalty was the right call.
