My "we will see" was because it is sometimes hard to know who likes the team and who wants it to fail on this board. I like the team and have been saying all along that there is something different this year and I think it comes down to one year older for the youth and a wiser coaching plan.

I 100% agree that the team looks better. Might it tail off? Ya, but for now we are seeing passionate games from almost each and every player at different points of different games. The D has been amazing considering 2 of its members are on the shelf. The goaltending has been good enough to win games. I like what I see and hope it continues

I am enjoying the moment but I still want a top 5 pick a trade for a top 6 and a free agent signing in the summer.

I agree, I expect them to tail off and start losing some games, but we are no way in hell as bad as last year. When Chaput, Gaunce, Skille and Megna play over 50 games, you got serious problems. Even guys like Larsen, Biega, Cramarossa, Boucher, and Shore played too many games - but what choice did we have? We're icing a better team this year. Definitely not a playoff team, but around the bubble, enough to give us a shi$$y draft position.

I don't know man, only if we get some serious lotto luck like Philly or Dallas got. Otherwise, I'd say we get in the 7-14 range.

I think the Gagne signing is going to be the one we (as fans) dislike the most. Gaunce is pretty much going to take his spot if he doesn't step up his game.

Gagner really has been terrible. Big disappointment

Pretty deep draft. I would be pretty happy if we got a McIsaac or Wilde in this
Draft.
Some pretty crappy teams Wings Sabres Panthers Coyotes Avalanche will fight for bottom 5.

Yeah its fascinating that he really seems to accomplish nothing on the ice consistently. He's the next guy I hope gets injured - give Goldy or Archi a month.

Merkley would be nice, a kid that can put up points from the backend, though he needs to work on his defense

I haven't seen the USN18 team play yet but I'm actually interested in the two Samuelsson kids - they're both monsters and Adam is off to a great start. I'm hoping JB keeps going with some US/NCAA picks.

i don't know man the kid is basically Stecher - he's horrific in his own end, light and small. He can walk the line really well and QB the PP but I'd take Evan Bouchard in a heartbeat over him.

Have you notice Guddy's shot this year

Even his first outlet pass is impressive

Mattias has been impressive, although small sample size for my viewing. Not fully sold on NCAA.

I'm not sure if you're being sarcastic or not

But i'm really digging Guddy overall - its great to see him getting decent mins, playing physical, smart defensively, ,and NOT being injured. it would be nice if MDZ or Hutton could score on the PP tho.

Reuben I forget but is it you that goes to Kelona games? I know its early in the season, but have you noticed that Kole Lind is outscoring Cody Glass, not by much, but its still encouraging. Have you seen either of those dudes play?

Yeah I mean, Guddy and MDZ are exceeding expectations in my mind SO FAR, hope they keep it up and start scoring. I was seriously fist pumping when Jake scored tonight. That kid just seems to get better each game, and he's really jelling with the Sedins. Its actually fun to watch.

Not me. I tried going last year when I was there, but no games on. I think Vanhockey guy, watches them regularly. Both seem to be on fire to start the season. Closest Junior to me is a 7 hour drive to Prince George.

So Vegas is going to improve to 7-1 here, which is insane. Especially with two goalies hurt. Some of this is PDO, but...
