Looking back on last night's game, I think Hak's biggest mistake was overthinking his D pairs. Rearranging all 3 pairs was an overreaction. Hagg may one day play on a top pair with Provorov but last night was not the time to start. With AMac out, the Hagg-Ghost was pair was the one good one left and should not have been broken up. Provorov should have been paired with the physical veteran Gudas, especially when going up against a big, nasty Ducks team. You then could have spotted Manning-Sanheim as a 3rd pair .

Oh well, perhaps we see this tomorrow night.

I agree. They should not have messed with the Gostisbehere/Hagg pairing. Don't think it would of mattered but that was my feeling going into the game.

The Ghost-Hagg pairing was good because Ghost has been so good. I'm not sure why it's become Kimmo-Coburn in some people's minds after 8 games.

Someone actually said they should have just plunked Morin on the right side of the top pairing in order to keep the other pairings together. Seems like such a smart move after he has played 160 games AHL games exclusively on the left side.

Gostisbehere has been very good but Hagg also played well contributing to the effectiveness of that pairing. They seemed to have good chemistry.

I don't watch Fear but agreed to the rest. It's always capped by the stupid writers and showrunners. It's like they're half incompetent. Maybe half incontinent for all I know.
