It was officially a coach's decision/healthy scratch.

Who knows. They're so secretive with injuries. Maybe leier was able to play but he was only at 70 percent. I think I'd still prefer leier but I'm not ready to grab the pitchforks

I thought the fourth line looked remarkably slower without him. I know it's the 4th line but they've been able to pick up the energy in the previous games and keep the tempo high which I think has been to their advantage.

So yeah, maybe they don't win but it's less of a thumping.

I know I wasn't the one clearing him and I trust the doctors' assessments, but I'll be damned if I didn't think he was gonna not play for a month. Dude looked like he had no idea where he was.
