"Honolulu passes law that makes texting while crossing the street illegal.
Pedestrians in Hawaii's state capital who cross a street or highway while using a mobile electronic device can be slammed with a fine of up to $35 for their first offense, according to the law".

I weep for this country....

That’s true but how is it fair that that there are games at 1 o’clock in the east on Saturday why can’t they make 3 so it’s a little equal lol

I don’t mind waking up at 9 etc but don’t you think that’s a little early ?

You guys never watch games at 9 or 10 o’clock why do we

It grinds my gears lol

It's because the team is based in Buffalo, not Barstow. You cater to the people who matter, you know, the ones who watch the game. Ratings are terrible for West coast trips.

You female dog about this a few times a year, and you still don't get it.

I like how he complains about having to wake up at 9. If I sleep til 9 anymore it's rare. I'm usually up by no later than 8 on the weekends even.

Anyone else think McCabe played his best hockey for us yesterday?

He's been disappointing so far this year, but yesterday he was throwing the body around and actually made some nice plays. He looked so lost earlier in the season with the puck on his stick in the defensive zone. Any chance we think he'll improve enough to handle top4 minutes?

I believe they actually show Sunday Night football as well. I think they carry any sports that happen to be on NBC or NBCSN at any given time.
- HonkFortheGoose

They play a ton of live sports; some online only stuff too.

If there is a sporting event on any NBC network, there are more than you'd think, you can stream it. You can also go to NBCsports.com and stream(all the networks, not just NBCSN) from there with your login creds.

Appreciate it
I’ll pass on the good word

I thought so too, but saw so little from him early on...was beginning to worry a bit. With only Guhle coming up in the near future and him signed for a few more years...we need him to be able to handle himself. Good to see it last night at least.

This is what happens when you have a M-F 8-5 job.

It also doesn't help that my b/f is up at 4:30 during the week. Sleeping until 6:30 for him IS sleeping in.

lol, no, I just have chronic insomnia. Most nights I'm like Tyler Durden. Thankfully I haven't met any soap salesmen. Yet.

It sucks that these "bargain" TV packages (Sling, Playstation Vue, Youtube TV etc.) are behind on the regional networks. If one of those companies were to get MSG, I would be all over that in an instant.

That would be amazing.

If the Pegulas bought a channel and sold the rights to subscription services, I literally would not have cable

Yes, you had an opinion and your sticking with it. Someday Rob Johnson is going to be great too.

Stripes, again I appreciate the wisdom. I'll try and back my point up with out just saying he's bad. It's the same as saying he's good with just taking his point totals into consideration.

I enjoy the board, I'd rather not be "that guy"

Sam did have 5 hits yesterday vs. Detroit, bringing his season total to 8 hits in 10 games

- Boss34

Boy, that Michael Dal Colle is really lighting up the NHL after being taken just 3 spots after Sam...

Sam Bennett too. How did we ever pass on him?

No one is "happy" with Sam's production, but looking at most of the guys taken in the 3 spots after him, only 1 is any good, and Sam is way better than the other 2.

It can always be worse.

The problem is the NHL has been spoiled by McDavid and Eichel and Matthews and even Draisaitl to an extent that it skews our way of thinking on young players and their production.

I called Spectrum and got cable for $11 a month. I asked about their streaming service and if it had MSG(it doesn't) and then the guy said that I could have my current internet and basic cable(including MSG) for $71.99 a month(I currently pay $59.99 for internet only). Needless to say I jumped all over it.

The thing is you can keep your cable costs down without having to cut the cord. But the problem is you have to call and complain when your price jumps or you have to be what I like to call a "jumper" (someone who switches services every year or two when their prices increase).

it's always cheap to sign up with a new service for at least a year typically. And with all the streaming options available if you do have a cable subscription, the days of having to have a box to get all the channels on every tv are also long gone. You just have to know what your options are and not be lazy about keeping after the companies when your prices start to go up.

I'm a sucker for high tier channels such as NHL Network. I bought a $50 Roku stick and can run all my channels on the Spectrum app through that. It's nice not to need a box to have cable up in my bedroom. I'm still paying a little too much. I am going to cut it once I have my setup figured out.

I need 8 teams for a yahoo fantasy league. It's late, I know but a friend of mine just said he wanted to play so I made a league.

Draft is this Saturday (10/28/17) at 5:30pm est

First week starts monday

When I went into the store to actually sign up the guy couldn't find the deal on his system. So he had to go in and do the discount manually. Because he said it was $101. I could've been lying and he would've bought it. I told him I was canceling it after the season and that seemed to mollify him somewhat.

I don't care about NHL network. I get MSG and NBCSN. That's all I care about. Curiously, I get Nat Geo, but not Animal Planet.

The only thing I don't like is I can't rewind, even when I'm streaming.

As long as Gerbe isn't commish and nothing gets changed after the draft I'll do it.
