turns out there is a no headbut rule.
did not find any nitty gritty details about what you can/can't do in a fight tho.
i'm gonna assume no elbows or chokes.
You know the game was a dud when a good chunk of the highlights package is dressing room shots, guys coming out of the tunnel and the warmup skate.
Is anyone looking forward to paying $150 per ticket plus transportation and concessions to see the Wild when they come to town for the rematch?
The NHL is still largely gate-driven isn't it? What does the salary cap look like in 5 years when the fans have turned their backs on this grossly-overpriced product? What happens to teams like Edmonton who have signed stars to huge max term deals? If you've got one player taking up a third or more of the cap they'll be unable to afford the support they need to be successful.
I suspect we may soon see another expansion team and a few other franchises sold so owners can take advantage of the market before it collapses. - YeOldTimer
There will always be people with money and the teams will always be profitable, especially in Canada and especially in Vancouver. Enjoy the cheap seats while you can because for a solid decade no one could get in for under your $150 for an upper. This team will win back crowds if it keeps playing like it has.
Capitals tonight boys, biggest test of the season. I expect an absolute blowout, but hey the kids are playing well so it's win-win at this point. 4-1 washington
