I only thought the first goal was his fault. 2nd Jake should of came back to cover that post and didn't. Third one was terrible neutral zone play against one the best defenseman in the nhl. He placed that shot perfect.

It'll be interesting to see what we do if we continue this way this game and lay another egg vs Toronto

I think we’re just seeing the real flyers now starting to emerge. A better team yes, but not a drastically better team. As well the way Hakstol flip flops defense pairings nobody can gel together.
I would rather see more rookies and have a so so season and let these kids grow and develop. We could be a much better team next year if we just let them play this year. We are not winning a cup, and very likely could miss playoffs again anyway. Nothing to lose.

I can deal with losing games because of lack of talent when we play hard and play good clean hockey. I can't deal with blown assignments sloppy play from our veterans.
