I don't know what emoji to respond with.

he has been disappointing-underwhelming. I was happy when we signed him. thought he was supposed to be a good two way player.

still hoping he can get it together.

we should be trading a winger for a draft pick or prospect when LE gets back and the same when EG returns.

An expensive roster spot for an under achieving player. Doesn't set a good example for incoming young players does it?

This has been a bit of an unexpected start to the year. What’s stands out to me the most is how hard the team is playing. TG has these guys working harder then I’ve seen them work in yrs. I think it will come down to special teams in how are season goes. The PK looks good, except Boston, and if the PP can get going we will have a chance at the playoffs. I’m even ok if we are a bubble team, JB found B.B. at 23rd overall so as long as we have a 1st round pick we should be ok.
- Kaynine

I will give JB a lot of rope. as long as he doesnt trade our first away, I will resist hysteria.

it is still very early in the season, bang the drum on the 20 game mantra, we know the playoffs are lofty goals after what we saw last season. and I think I've see a few seasons start with the team really skating and forechecking then slowing down and falling back to earth.

enjoying the ride so far.

Trivia, who can name this player?
He is the nephew of Vancouver Canucks assistant coach Newell Brown.

Yeah, I guess it doesn't look good. maybe if he works his butt off training and around the team, there is something there for being a good example.

I'm not sure who he should be with. He likes to be parked around the front or side of the net. maybe when EP shows up he will have someone to play with. (pulling at straws)

He just made a pass by angling his stick with one hand to deflect the puck between his legs to an open teammate

What is really encouraging about Pettersson is the little/subtle plays he makes.

Edler will need some assistance keeping the country club atmosphere going, should the Sedin's move on.

I like a lot of things you have said in this post. Pretty much the entire post.

Dahlin, Boqvist, Merkley, Hughes, Smith, McIsaac, Wilde, Woo, E. Bouchard, X. Bouchard, Alexeyev. Those are all the D that are listed in some person's mock draft. Some with better offensive instincts then others.

- manvanfan

Any one of those D is exactly what the Canucks need most in their prospect pool. Which is why the draft position they end up in is not such a concern. The Canucks will benefit either way.

Though if Canucks compete and don't tank this new lotto system will probably reward them. As it only worked once for a tanking team and the other five draws worked for competing teams lol.

Still need a high end player. Some lotto luck this year would be ideal.

scouts say the first 40 are good prospects then it drops, so we will get a good prospect.

Couple more weeks of this for the Canucks and I think it becomes likely that they make the playoffs.

Awesome start.

24 on the A list. 75 on the B list.

I've never really looked at the watch list before so I don't know if that is deeper then normal years.

Edit: just reviewed last season. 29 on the A list 76 on the B list. The A list last season had a bunch of players that went in the 3rd rounder or later.

Hopefully we have a chance of drafting a A list prospect with the first rounder!

Can't remember a time when so many Canuck prospects are getting attention and praise. I wouldn't be surprised when the NHL team prospect pool ranking is made again the Canucks move up from 7 to top 3. This is a good trend even though there is no superstar generational player among them.

It's ok to enjoy the win streak and improved play, but it's also ok to be skeptical and pessimistic as well as the losing streaks will also come. It need not be one or the other, it can be both at the same time.

Estimated 730 million people watched Ac Milan vs Juventus. An italian league soccer match today. That's crazy. 78000 people in the stands.

Ac Milan spent over $200 million euros and still suck.
