I don’t think he’s actually an idiot, but he sure doesn’t look (or sound) good in front of a camera/microphone

Threw out the idea to move to somewhere in BC, to the wife today. Kelowna/ Kootenay/ Nelson you know somewhere around there.

She left me.

I can see which side of the fence you fell onto. I prefer optimism.

Here's how I see the team. Currently with a 6-3-1 record with a very young still inexperience core with a bunch of older players that are not producing.

Currently the teams best prospects is having the best draft plus 1 season ever in the SHL.

There is talk about Demko being the best goaltending prospect not in the NHL.

Craig Button says Canucks prospect Adam Gaudette has been one of the best players in the NCAA this year.

A 5OA D prospect that seems to be finding his stride in a Men's league in Finland.

You misunderstand me, I am optimistic for the future, but I am aware,of the present and there is still a lot of work ahead before this team can peak again. Maybe players will hit prime years sooner than the previous generation, but it was a decade from draft to dominance for the twins and you expect this team to challenge for a cup in two years, well, I just don’t know what to say, good luck?

Oh no she left to go visit her sister for the night. She's coming back. She just happened to leave right after I had said we should move.

10 years to get to the finals. Made the playoffs 8 out of those 10 years. That was that group, this group is another breed.

I’m on the ferry going from Victoria to Vancouver right now. One trip like this and she would never want to go back to Manitoba...

This is sad news, man.
Talk it out, you seem pretty level headed on here and always look for the positives. Relationships go through challenges and obstacles and that's what makes them strong.
Always best to choose a walk instead of a Rye.
I hope you guys can work it out.

Which rye would it be? Tough choices

Did you edit your post after?

Well I had a club sandwich for lunch and about 15 mini chocolate bars. I think i'm going to make a lasagna and caesar salad.

I've been on that ferry about 10 times. My parents said I tried to jump off of it and go swimming when I was a kid.

Yes. I was trying to show my compassionate side.
Splits & divorces are a heavy scene. I'm glad you were just joking.

The usual Saturday night rib eyes with sauted mushrooms for Mrs. Marwood and an Argentinian Cabernet Sauvignon/Malbec blend. The potatoes are oven roasted with duck fat.

Are you feeling Okay?

Wife likes the wine. Not I.

My uncle (from BC) came to visit and brought a bunch of the kraft beers with him. Some were good.

I like most people in here. Don't always/ever agree with a bunch but at the end of the day it's a pretty decent bunch.

It is getting a little out of hand.
We laugh at the Maple Leafs for planning their parade route every October and now most of the Canuck fans are doing the same thing.
I can't wait for the emotional breakdowns, suicide packs and other assorted freak outs when the first losing streak starts. A fragile fanbase.

- Marwood

Yes but its in Utica 😂😂

N4u is basically the only one over excited but he is like that regardless.

I have seen some comments about where are all the Dorsett haters now.

Nighthawk is always cheering for them 365 .

Aside from that I see a bunch of fans enjoying a two week win streak. We didn't get to do that last year,

Green for sure has some different theories with TOI and structure and such…we'll see if it's a honeymoon phase or not very similar to WD in his first year as coach here when he got a non-playoff team in the PO's.

It's as much a personnel issue as it's the coach. Boeser, Vanek, Pouliot, MDZ and even Gagner have had impact on how this team is structured. It's always easier to coach when you have the right players to work with. Time will tell when the honeymoon ends however.

- LordHumungous

TG giving TOI stems from his day & what he learned.
A players coach but players r accountable always.👍

It's ok to enjoy the win streak and improved play, but it's also ok to be skeptical and pessimistic as well as the losing streaks will also come. It need not be one or the other, it can be both at the same time.
- DariusKnight

Idk if skepticism & pessimism is valid tbh.
Being realistic or idealistic is more my style.
