After the intermission they played:

Dogs
Sheep
Pigs (three different ones)
Wish you were here
Us and them
Money
Brain damage
Eclipse
Mother
Comfortably numb

I might have it a little out of order, and he played another song from his new album as well that I don’t know.

Was a great show, I hope I have as much to offer at 74 as Roger Waters
.

Fair enough,

Try not to make posts that are critical or demeaning of my opinions..

you mean like you do whenever I mention anything about coaching?

or say like in this thread where you mock the opinion of those who choose to be happy about the team this season

I’m buying a house in Scottsdale...it’s a process getting financing.

I'll be there in Feb for the Nucks. Doing a Vegas and Phoenix mini trip and a drive by the Canyon on the way back. Rented a Mustang convertible for the drive. The thought of this trip is keeping me going ATM

Huge fan. Have a Cigar still gives me goosebumps everytime I hear it. Too bad they couldn't get their poop together over the past 2 decades so we could have seen more of them with Roger. Jealous that you were able to see them!

BUT he's just stopping the planning of parades and tempering others expectations.

Yeah, lots of tunes I would have loved to hear. I made a mistake, they didn’t play sheep, it was just extra long dogs with a champagne break. If you think about it $50 for a shirt is cheap. When I did the majority of my concert going in the ‘80 & ‘90 a ticket to the show was $35ish and I paid at least $20 for T’s from Clapton, GnR, the Cult, The Who etc. Now tickets are $100+ and T’s are only $50...

Big Free agent forward signings from last season
LE 6 Million AAV 24 points - 1 point.
Ladd 5.5 AAV 31 points - 5 points.
Lucic 6 AAV 50 points - 6 points
Okposo 6 AAV 45 points - 2 points
Backes 6 AAV 38 points - 1 point
Nielsen 5.25 AAV 41 points - 4 points

Only Lucic has really come near his worth for his contract.

Probably just stay away for next season. Unless it's Tavares. Or unless someone is coming in for cheap.

If Tavares goes to free agency he’ll make a mint!! Unless he wants to go home to Toronto? He’d look sharp in blue and green 👍🏻

Next year they'll be one year closer to McDavid leaving as a UFA.

12.5 ? I am not sure I want that.

I don't know if you could get 7 or 8 more productive years from him though. 28 to start the season next year.

I'm not for one to sit idly by and wait for things to find out where the team is at.

BUT I'd prefer if they did wait a year or 2 to see where the prospects have developed too and if the team at that time has holes. Then sign some free agents or make trades.

I probably wouldn't even sell too much at the TDL. Maybe Hutton and Burmistrov. Unlesss someone knocks the socks off which I doubt would happen.

When LE comes back I would keep him out of the line up if the team is still rolling along. Make him earn his playtime.

I would extend Burmistrov 2 years @1 mil per. Nice insurance policy he plays all three spots.

I like our centers of Bo and Sutter and think they can handle the load until Pettersson arrives. Add in Gaunce and Gaudette. It is not horrible.

I think Bo and Sutters line are fine for the next two years.

Finding JV two younger line mates should be the teams goal this year .

Before I thought we might have needed a long term Free Agent but the kids look like they are developing fine. 4 years max. Trade is preferred .

I like him

He has 5 points in 9 games. What are you expecting from a fourth line player 80 pts?

Yeah but he's going to get a more money then that. He's on pace for almost 40 points. I also think his role will diminish next season if Gaudette or EP makes the team. He's taken his "show us" contract this season. If you were to look somewhere around 2.25 per season if he continues at this pace.

I would keep him on the Canucks . He is a decent young player. If it costs 2.25 do it. He could turn out to be another Granlund

It could be a fourth line Gaunce Gaudette Burmistrov

I would re-sign him but it'll take 3M a year if Gagner's contract is used as a comparable (I say Burmi has better defensive game than that comparable, so it might take more)

100% agree. Why sell 20 somethings with tangible, observable skills for unknown teenagers? I re-up all of the 20 somethings, starting with EG

Sven
JV
Granlund
Burmistrov
Gudbrandson UFA
Stecher
Pouliot
Biega UFA
Weirchioch UFA

30 mil projected cap space. I would trade Markstrom at TDL making it 33.5

If the price works for term and dollar amount. I have no problem keeping him. Gaudette and EP right now show more projectable numbers then he has shown in the NHL. Can you keep Baertschi, Granlund, Burmistrov contract numbers down to pay some others. If you can get them all for around 2-4 million. Follow the Pit model.

I am still not a Baertschi fan but he is proving me wrong in the last five games.

He's streaky. Not a 1st line forward. Probably a 2nd liner in the future.
