Probably the most excited I’ve been about the possibilities of a prospect since the Canucks drafted Boeser. Kids three years from his draft but he’s good.

He looked great in the summer. He was even more noticeable than Boeser

Would have been an upgrade to pick up Garrison off waivers over Biega and could have used heavy shot on PP. But that 4.1M cap hit even though for just this year is too much with LE returning soon.

Looks like they made roster room for LE by sending down Chaput. When Gaunce is ready in couple weeks then they probably 86 Wiercioch before his waiver free pass is up.

All kidding aside, how do you feel the NCAA ranks as a development league? As compared to say the CHL AHL & SHL.

You make it sound like he's stuck in junior from his draft year? The kid has progressed into higher competition and is developing. Isn't that what prospects are supposed to do before trying to make the team. Like BB he'll arrive and thrive.

Comets play twice this weekend. Canucks don't play till monday. JB said there would be another call up for monday.

Had same concern but checked Cap friendly prior to posting and says he's UFA next season.

All respect to Bulldog he isn't better then Garrison or has his shot that could be used. But he's a hell of a lot cheaper and fits under the Canucks cap.

I think it’s a great league, now, his choice to stay there and get better. No issues there from me. I’d like them to move the draft age back to 19, so spending two or three years in college (or wherever) to get better is perfectly fine with me.
