Seem to be short on half centers in Utica. Wouldn't mind helping Goldy and Boucher out. They are pretty much carrying the team with Demko so far.

I think it’s a great league, now, his choice to stay there and get better. No issues there from me. I’d like them to move the draft age back to 19, so spending two or three years in college (or wherever) to get better is perfectly fine with me.

Would have been an upgrade to pick up Garrison off waivers over Biega and could have used heavy shot on PP. But that 4.1M cap hit even though for just this year is too much with LE returning soon.

Looks like they made roster room for LE by sending down Chaput. When Gaunce is ready in couple weeks then they probably 86 Wiercioch before his waiver free pass is up.

So you read how erroneous your statement on Guadette's development was and tried to clean it up which is a good change. But now you added another error when you know the courts won't allow the draft age to be raised. NHL though could change their free agent rule on players staying amateur in the NCAA.

The workplace I am in most ppl could not handle nor the lifestyle it brings in all manners.

The league could argue that the brain is more developed, so it would be more beneficial to raise the age.
The NHLPA would have a hard time arguing against player safety imo.

Edit: I think the courts would have to take a serious look at it also.

Yeah they are and Cassels going there now won't help that much either. Was my biggest beef for Utica development this season was lack of quality centers to help the wingers.

That said still would like to see Dahlen brought to Comets when Timra contract up in December. He's showing he's up to speed on mono recovery. For his game I'd like to see how he handles going to the net from the corners in smaller rink with rough D lining you up for hits.
