It is getting a little out of hand.
We laugh at the Maple Leafs for planning their parade route every October and now most of the Canuck fans are doing the same thing.
I can't wait for the emotional breakdowns, suicide packs and other assorted freak outs when the first losing streak starts. A fragile fanbase.

I read some of this stuff and got a bit of vomit in my mouth.

I don't really see a lot of Pom Poms. The team has been playing great hockey and showing glimpses of the future, and people are happy. People get criticized for everything here.

You are damned if you do , damned if you don't.

- VANTEL

Some in here just don't allow anyone to show any sign of happiness. Even if it's sarcasm.

Not everybody likes to just focus on the bad. It's a shame.

N4u is basically the only one over excited but he is like that regardless.

I have seen some comments about where are all the Dorsett haters now.

Nighthawk is always cheering for them 365 .

Aside from that I see a bunch of fans enjoying a two week win streak. We didn't get to do that last year,

I'm pretty sure Pom pom's were "created" in here just to combat the severe depression and black hole that a few people live in.

Should be cheering for the team 365. I am as well. I want the team to compete and win every game. Never seen a team go 82-0 so if they lose a couple, so be it.

Two week stretch that we are seeing that the development, drafting, trading by coaches and management are paying off. A couple years of down seasons and showing signs of improvement. Why wouldn't we show signs of enjoyment.

yes and remember I predicted this would happen. We are winning and Green is getting more from his players. Still People were convinced that we would be doomed with our roster.

The right coach can make a huge difference and we are benefiting from that right now

OMG That video is hilarious. Amazing work

- SMBDragon

Green for sure has some different theories with TOI and structure and such…we'll see if it's a honeymoon phase or not very similar to WD in his first year as coach here when he got a non-playoff team in the PO's.

It's as much a personnel issue as it's the coach. Boeser, Vanek, Pouliot, MDZ and even Gagner have had impact on how this team is structured. It's always easier to coach when you have the right players to work with. Time will tell when the honeymoon ends however.

It's ok to enjoy the win streak and improved play, but it's also ok to be skeptical and pessimistic as well as the losing streaks will also come. It need not be one or the other, it can be both at the same time.

I think the elephant in the room is that perhaps the Canucks have not, in fact, been playing “great” hockey, but have managed to take advantage of their opportunities. What Marwood is saying is that at some point this bubble is going to burst and things like Dorsetts 40% shooting rate will dry up. Then in typical fashion the fans will start complaining that JB is an idiot for whatever the flavour of the day is.

Exactly, take the good with the bad. Not every player is going to have their best games but that's why it's an 82 game season.

Kole Lind is now pointless in 2 games. Surprised some haven't called him a bust yet.

It’s not the signs of enjoyment, it’s the writing the lines of kids who have never played a professional game in and suggesting “that’s the team gonna win is a cup”. Literally every team has that same stock of young talent, most of them better than what the Canucks have. So by all means, enjoy the wins, be excited for the future, but there is still a very long way to go before this team is truly competitive again.

These next 10 games will give the fans a better idea about this team. Most GMs say you can get a good idea what type of team you have around the 20 game mark. American Thanksgiving.

In the next 10 games we play Pitt Ana VGK NJ Dal SJ Cgy StL Det and Phi. That will be one mother of a stretch. I think we will be very lucky to go .500 .

I look at the roster and I still see the Twins and LE still on the roster so this is where we come back to reality. I see that draft list available and there are some really really nice pieces.

If Canucks did get the same result as the first 10 games I would be super shocked.

I can see which side of the fence you fell onto. I prefer optimism.

Here's how I see the team. Currently with a 6-3-1 record with a very young still inexperience core with a bunch of older players that are not producing.

Currently the teams best prospects is having the best draft plus 1 season ever in the SHL.

There is talk about Demko being the best goaltending prospect not in the NHL.

Craig Button says Canucks prospect Adam Gaudette has been one of the best players in the NCAA this year.

A 5OA D prospect that seems to be finding his stride in a Men's league in Finland.

Kelowna's? I really miss going to see the BWK play. BCJHL is probably getting better because a few more top players are staying longer or choosing to play their because of going to College.

Gaudette and Demko are the two names I expect to see on Canucks next year . I am not sure any other prospect will make it.
