The real high level players have both. Crosby isn't Crosby just because of his talent. He has drive and determination as well. That's the difference.

You do need a nice mix of both in a way, IMO. Sometimes the less talented players that have to work hard and are full of heart help keep the high talent players in check in terms of work ethic and all that. Just my opinion of course. It's part of the whole "competitiveness" thing.

Its not all hard work or all talent. it needs to be a combination of both, people are not just all their dad or all their mom they are a combination of both. life is not all of one thing it is an effing combination.

What it takes is a combination of talent and hard work.. you can't just be good you have to work at it too.. yes if you are talented you may not have to work AS hard but you still can't just mess around.
