I don't care about other teams. All I know is that OUR team is playing well. Literally all of our young roster players in the NHL/AHL and prospects are having great starts to the season. This is pretty much going as good as anyone could have hoped for at this point.

After reviewing it on PVR, it appears Markstrom is piss ed over the slash Sven took when he stripped puck away from Radulov in the defensive zone, play goes the other way and comes back and of course it is that same Radulov who scored.

Really I must have missed those hockey talk days, if people that want to post an honest opinion and then get sh!t on for posting their opinions, accused of negativity and mocking, what do you expect. If I’m criticized for posting my opinions, I’ll join the Pom Pom club of 4U, or make outrageous coaching claims like Dragon, if you can’t beat them join them is how the saying goes.

That was an entertaining game tonight, it’s good to see the players overachieving, I hope they can continue with the effort level. But I still think their lack of skill will catch up with them eventually and they will start loosing more games as the competition gets better.

There is my opinion, which gets criticized because it doesn’t paint the team in the positive light that several here have. So go ahead and have at it, too much push back and it’s back to the 4U Pom Pom club.

On - A) I don't believe they're very talented as a group (except Horvat/Boeser/Pouliot and maybe Baertschi) B) I believe they'll finish out of the playoffs

Just because I happen to not like the current mix of players, outside of a few, doesn't mean I hate everything Canucks or that I don't like their future. It simply means I don't really like where they sit, however, I'm hopeful in a few of the kids they've assembled and I believe better days are ahead.

If we had a better GM they'd be even further ahead...but that's water under the bridge.

You can have an opinion but it must be a positive one. Best coaching staff ever. The young guns are taking the reins and the prospects are at the cusp of becoming elite NHL players. The rebuild is over!

I don't think that's necessarily true, he's just ok, not great and not totally terrible. I think it's overplayed both ways. He's a small kid that's pretty young and he's played one year.

Lots of kids have been overplayed the last few years, injuries/lack of depth/coaching, this year is the first year minutes seem to be more in line with where they should be.

How many solid games will it take for you to say that this team is actually pretty decent and the coaching change has definitely had a positive impact? I bet you will change your tune at the 30 game mark when we are still seeing what we see now.

I think he and a few others, including myself, are enjoying the games but the swoon for the coach is comical.

The Canucks are 6-3-2 for 14 points so far and Goal Diff of +4; Willie's first 2 seasons he had an 8-3-0 (16 points, +5GD) and 5-2-4 (14 points, +7GD) through the same point. It was ridiculed relentlessly on here because of who was on the bench, every line-up, decision, and play were blamed on the coach.

Now there is a new coach with (arguably) a better roster getting similar results and making the same questionable roster and lineup decisions, getting praised for it. I am happy the style of play is more entertaining, but after reading through pages of bashing the past 2+ years (3+ if you want to add Torts to the mix), some of us are not going to be so quick to jump on the bandwagon, it can come crashing down very quickly
