Just realized that we are only one win behind LVGK for second place in our division!

But then I realized we've played one more game then they have.

It will be an uphill battle but I think we can catch them.

Journey said it best!

Reading MSM articles about the canucks and most of it has been complimentary. I find it interesting that adjectives like speed, hunger, hustle, etc. are used. Terms that have not been used for sometime.

As discussed, the only difference now is that the twins are playing about 2-3 minutes less a game 5 on 5. They are only 2 players out of 19 yet the twins personality drove the perception of the team. I don't think the non-twin players we have now are any more hungrier than non-twin players we've had in the past.

Nice to see the tone of this thread shifting to a more positive place...just in time for me to interrupt.

Hopefully the good vibes will carry over to the new blog?

I see things other people can't comprehend. Also, I've done stuff at an elite level.

This is the "attack" you are referring to. It is mild at best and certainly did not warrant the response you gave, yet you are not banned

For quote 1: Makita and I were posters first. We can share our opinions and participate on this website just like everyone else. Though we accepted a position to uphold the CoC, that doesnt mean we cannot joke about, disagree or comment on topics in the way we see fit. We are also human and can post irrationally, inappropriately, or potentially offend someone in the same manner as anyone else, though we hold a title of Ref does not mean we have perfect judgement.

For quote 2: I have noticed you are not around as much, and do not expect you to backread every single post but he has been participating and complimented Travis Green, the team, while also citing his concerns about his style. It is comments like these (to all posters, not just those directed to Makita), that have taken everyone to sarcasm, snarl, or lack of engagement. Posters are being put in corners of absolutes and makes it difficult to want to say anything of substance because the effort is often dismissed and a label assigned

Thanks WhiteLie, I appreciate the words for both of us. Well said

Cheer up sunshine. Over the years I have a tendency to agree with what you've posted. I have no idea why you were the whipping boy for a while other than everyone gets a turn at some point.

When I first joined I got a rough ride. I survived and have been a model Hockeybuzzer ever since.

- bloatedmosquito

You certainly make me chuckle bloated, thanks for that.

Oh, and keep up the good work of being a model poster.

Ive been ignoring it for months. Things crossed the line today and I had enough.
Im just fed up up with the fact these people are allowed to act the way they do and nothing ever happens to them.
Its a biased place. Not pointing any fingers at you at all though. I personally think you've been much more impartial than makita. I was a little concerned when you came on but I think you've done well, at least from what Ive seen.

For someone who refers to CoC, you would know this is questionable conduct.

I appreciate it, but this has been a team effort. Makita has been just as responsible for the turnaround here of late, and the rest of the posters are doing their part as well
