I was thinking about a similar scenario after reading JJ's blog about the Blackhawks and how some are calling for Coach Q's head.
Q is not the right fit for the Canucks right now though.

But back to your question.

i've said it before, i'll say it again.

As good as Luongo was and as much as i enjoyed watching him play, putting that much salary into the goaltending position does not seem like a great strategy imo.

Price is elite, but it handcuffs the team in regards to options.
