They've played good no doubt but are riding a lucky streak for the most part. Sutter's a fine player, always has been but he doesn't deserve the ice time he gets on this team. - belcherbd
You are being a little too negative belcher, Sutter is a high end talent that deserves everything given.
Pfft, lucky streak my ass, Green has these guys finally playing to their potential, the potential that Benning the GM guru saw in these players, just needed a all world coach. |

No wonder the blogs traffic has slowed down alot, people used to talk hockey now everything is just replied to with sarcasm. |

Not sure what Markstrom was upset about at end of game, but I believe Sven took a pretty good slash. He even appeared to be favouring it while trying to backcheck. |

Really I must have missed those hockey talk days, if people that want to post an honest opinion and then get sh!t on for posting their opinions, accused of negativity and mocking, what do you expect. If I’m criticized for posting my opinions, I’ll join the Pom Pom club of 4U, or make outrageous coaching claims like Dragon, if you can’t beat them join them is how the saying goes.
That was an entertaining game tonight, it’s good to see the players overachieving, I hope they can continue with the effort level. But I still think their lack of skill will catch up with them eventually and they will start loosing more games as the competition gets better.
There is my opinion, which gets criticized because it doesn’t paint the team in the positive light that several here have. So go ahead and have at it, too much push back and it’s back to the 4U Pom Pom club. |

How many solid games will it take for you to say that this team is actually pretty decent and the coaching change has definitely had a positive impact? I bet you will change your tune at the 30 game mark when we are still seeing what we see now.

After reviewing it on PVR, it appears Markstrom is piss ed over the slash Sven took when he stripped puck away from Radulov in the defensive zone, play goes the other way and comes back and of course it is that same Radulov who scored. |

Sure after 30 games and the team is producing at this pace you can bet I’ll admit that my opinion was incorrect. I just believe the guys are overachieving at the moment, they are still in the honeymoon phase.
But I will gladly admit my opinions were wrong about the team, if in fact they are wrong. |

Is it about being 'right' or 'wrong' ?
if anyone was truly able to predict the games that well, they'd be rich and not on HB
Just enjoy the game when it's played well and female dog about it when it's played poorly. |

So, Megna got a whopping 4 minutes of ice time and Bo played 2 seconds more than Sutter, but Granlund had over 2 minutes more than those 2 did.
Jake and Burmistrov under 10 minutes and Sedin's around 13 minutes. |

And why can’t I post my opinions like everyone else, belcher just posted he thinks Sutter is getting lucky and doesn’t deserve the ice time he’s getting. It’s his opinion and should be able to posts that whenever he wants, not just when the team is playing poorly. Same applies to everyone, good, bad or indifferent. |

Canucks are generating a lot of shots under Greener, way more than last year, I'm not sure what the quality of those shots are but if they continue with that their chances of scoring should remain higher than last year. |

You're the ref my man.
You can post whatever you want!
Seriously though. You can say whatever you want and people can disagree all they want.
I think this discussion is more about giving props when props are due and not having to be right/wrong about anything.

Yes good thing Stecher isn’t there to mentor him the right way, he just might have turned the puck over, like 20 times already. - Makita

Great pick up. Plus explains Sven having trouble getting back to check Radulov from effects of slash.
Still they gave as good as they got. The attacking game TG has them playing is noticable in how the D drive the net plus shots, hits and goals all trending better. |
