Good afternoon to everyone,

After several discussions, WhiteLie and I have decided that we will be enforcing the CoC to the letter of the law.

We have both allowed a lot of complaining and b!tching to go on between posters and ourselves because we feel we know you guys. We have both stated that we have thicker skin and we always thought a little joking, poking and teasing would get guys to lighten up a bit.

Well unfortunately, that's not the case, so we both felt that we have been left with no other alternative but to enforce the rules, I guess we will see how that turns out.

So please refresh you knowledge of the CoC, http://www.hockeybuzz.com/rules.php and I would like to point out rule #5 in particular. Yes the rules could use a little updating but everyone will get the gist of what's acceptable.

Any complaints or comments, please send either WhiteLie or myself a PM.

Thanks for understanding.

Jake played 1 shift with Bo line. Very fast paced game and his regular linemates had difficulty keeping up.
Rodin will probably get in for tomorrow's GAME, although I would like to see Biega take the spot up front and Weirchoch put into lineup.

- Renidrag

Thanks. Hank and Dank should be split to cover their lack of speed possibly.

Biega probably has less finish then megna. šŸ˜‚

Wow, so lets all try that again and instead of going nuts lets all show some respect for Carol's blog and return to discussing the excellent content she has provided us. We are lucky she puts in the effort she does

I liked the game Biega played last night, he kept the bigger forwards from taking liberties. Tanev always seems to get pasted quite hard, but last night it didn't seem that way, same for Gudbranson.

You are still showing signs of personality and emotions. Didn't you get the memo?

I was mad at the 3 great scoring opportunities he missed.

Am I allowed to say that or is it only positive, re-enforcing shoulder rub comments now that a new tone has been set?

That's how the 2 posters want it. They set the tone.

Splitting them up just puts a strain on the other line that gets put out with them. Keeping them together with Jake ensures he will get 9-12 minutes at even strength and makes him more responsible defensively,as he knows he has to cover for his linemates.
In my opinion, Biega has more to offer than Megna , if he were to be inserted as a forward. He can add a bit of speed like Megna, he can flub shots like Megna, but more importantly he can provide some physicality upfront, unlike Megna.
With this current type of play, Biega is a better fit than both Megna and Rodin, who according to reports from other sources, is average

I'd sit Megna and give Rodin a shot if Boeser isn't able to suit up for Weds.

I know this will be a shock but I like Biega over Stecher I know shocker.

He was flying last night. Good thing there are boards or he would have been sprint skating across False Creek...

Ya, I am not a big fan of Stecher nor Megna nor Rodin, so I would rather get Weirchoch in the line up by moving Biega upfront.

Maybe if we were playing a 5th line... we have too many forwards both in Van and Utica...

Biega was one of the best dmen on the team last night. Moving him to forward next game would be ridiculous.

Thanks Booner!

I think he's been pretty inconsistent, his defensive game is weak and I wish he was a better skater but he moves the puck pretty well and looks smooth on the PP. Hopefully he'll improve with more NHL experience.

Edit:
Thanks nucks_94!

- Nucker101

I agree & if our top 4 D were more dynamic he would fit in better. Yes it would be nice if he can round out his game more so but iā€™d rather have him over Pedan & let him develop more.

It was a pretty fun game for sure. Both teams probably could have scored 3-4 goals if the goalies weren't so good.

Sutter line was fantastic against the Seguin-Benn unit. Tanev and Hutton did great as the shutdown duo against them as well.

Felt kinda bad for JV, Sedins were too slow for the pace of the game so he didn't have much help. Also thought Gudbranson struggled with the pace.

Biega played great as well. He was manhandling the Dallas forwards all game long and did a surprisingly good job moving the puck and joining the rush.

- Nucker101

Good point on JVšŸ‘šŸ‘
As time moves on he will adapt well imo & once the Sedins go to pasture his presence will be more prominent.

Markstrom was one hell of a back checker last night.

Yeah, intense game with a few crazy moments. Bishop was a wall. Canucks failing on so many grade A chances were mostly about him. I think we crush Dallas and their one line team otherwise.

- boonerbuck

I saw the game as we were 1 snipe away from a win. We skated great & the intensity was there start to finish.

From last Thread.

I have played Organized Soccer, Rugby, Ice Hockey, Voodoo Style Roller hockey and baseball. At least 3 yrs of each. 20 yrs of Rep Soccer (Metro then DIV1)

Rugby, I believe is the hardest Cardio Wise. It combines Football and Soccer, adding physicality to the endurance factor with not very many stoppages.

- SMP8719

Yes Rugby is demanding indeed.
After that my experiences I list hockey boxing then soccer as next up.

We know Megna, let's see what Rodin has to offer.
