There was a warning by both refs, who collaborated on the decision that we are requiring posting within the rules of the CoC.
Unfortunately one poster decided to post a derogatory comment against a ref which is in violation of the CoC and has been banned for 3 days.
I’m only posting this so everyone knows both WhiteLie and I are serious about cleaning things up here, and we are asking for everyone cooperation.
Thanks |

I was just kidding, but feel free to shoot one across my bow, I'm not easily offended by strangers who type negative stuff about me on the internet.
By the way, it's not about "need", it's about balls - LeftCoaster
If its about balls thats not a domestic truck
😂😂 my X5 had balls & time for a change. |

I don’t pull a boat etc I use it for out of town driving in all seasons & only need enough room for wifey’s & my stuff. The X5 was a 4.6L fully loaded with sport package & navigation & flew along but the gas mileage sucked so going for a car this time around. |

I totalled it on the way from Trail to my lodging in Rossland when a fog bank came out of nowhere. Was only on a 5 day job so bought a beater to get back home. |

Oh yes all it took was a set of poor circumstances & if not for a 3-4’ deep drainage ditch prolly minimal damage if any at all. |

I've never had a truck before (cars and vans and bikes are my thing).
Thinking of upgrading to a lil SUV next though.
For me, the partner and our 5 year old plus all the camping gears.
Any tips? |

Anyone who has never owned or driven a Bimmer would love them at the right price & model that suits them. Anything in the 10-15yr old range gets a lot of car & a great driving experience. |

BMW X5 is a good choice. Different models & prices & age dictates price. They can go anywhere nearly & have a great interior etc |

I should also add, i'd only be looking for a used truck.
Not fussed about interior...because of 5 year olds
More concerned with a dependable vehicle with some storage space that isn't massive (the roads are tiny here, like the hobbits) |

The streets in Victoria (downtown area) are old and narrow, I have a hard time with a truck downtown, thus I don't venture out that way unless I'm in my "WIFES" SUV. |

Use Kelly Blue book for used prices.
Plug in year & model.
Here in Vancouver a 2001-3 X5 3L in great condition I’d pay $3k for it. So many bells & whistles eg heated leather seats & comfort & power. My 2003 4.6L was top of the line & was 95k new & bought it 7yrs old for 17k & its worth 5k now. |

Have them down to $3500 on the phone.
Its a great value & has all but Navigation. - Nighthawk
Seems like decent value.

I’m looking for a new (used) truck right now, I don’t tow, but it needs to have enough room for the family, skis etc. Other than the sloping body panel where the cab meets the box, i really like the Honda Ridgeline. They have all kinds of premium features standard, fuel efficient V6. Other similar full cab / short box trucks include Nissan Frontier, Toyota Tacoma, Chevy Colorado, though these other trucks don’t come standard as a 5 passenger, or with 4x4, those are upgrades. |
