Weren't the Canucks supposed to be that team everyone played their back up...right
Its okay they are playing well. Canucks just don't have enough finishers and good enough goaltending to edge out wins against teams that are bringing it too. |

Bo and Sven have kinda sucked tonight. Brock has created some shots/chances at least. Sedins have been better than I thought they'd be against a speedy team. Hell, they've probably been our best line tonight.
Schneider is a wall tonight. |

I was told that one of the 1040 guys dropped a pre-game bomb that Luongo was set to buy a house here before the outdoor game fiasco. Looks like the plan was for him to potentially still be our goalie lol |

Agreed. But in the right package, he currently has value. That's more than I could say before the season |

With another year at $2.65m there is MINIMAL value in trade for DD - a 5th if you are lucky. But hey, that’s just my opinion. |

He ain't getting a 1st. But a 2nd isn't ridiculous if he continues to play on a "shutdown line" and look OK doing it. We all know GM's love "grit/intangibles" for a playoff push. I'd guess a 3rd realistically though, especially since he still has that 2.5M cap hit that's still on the cap next year too.
Look at what PIT gave up for Reaves. |

Yeah, the more i think about it, he'd be hard to move because of that extra year. GM's probably prefer expiring deals.
Pointless discussion IMO, I'd be shocked if he's traded.
I really want Edler to be paired with Tanev this year and then move Edler at the draft if Benning can push him to provide a list. |

This team will have no problem surviving an Edler trade. Do it. Guddy is better than him now...

That part is debatable on asset management perspective. Having one year term is not restrictive and gives the GM another chance for the gamble on giving up higher futures. |
