yup... - LeftCoaster
They need to spend their cap money more wisely and get a better bang for their buck.
26 million spent on Hank Danny Loui(injured ) and Gagner for 3 goals 13 points in 12 games. |

Yes I agree, however, Gillis signed the twins to those deals, not Benning. The Eriksson contract is one of the worst in the league. |

For sure, and that's why you don't sign 29 or 30 year old UFA's to seven year deals. |

Fair enough, you did tell Makita that you are a lone wolf.
Good luck going forward in your empty world of hate.
I respect your independence. |

I am not sure if snake bitten or not good enough. I like Biega but if he is your top Dman and Dorsett is the top goal scorer then your team may have problems. - VANTEL
MDZ and Hutton had 59 shots between them and ZERO goals, that's a mix of horrific and snake bitten. It blows my mind - if you or I played and had 59 shots, one is going in.
And its ok to admit Biega had a good game, he's the only Dman out there jumping in on the rush - it creates chances and reeks havoc for the opposition. Good for him. |

Quality is certainly more important the quantity, which this clearly illustrates. |

I like the bulldog he always brings the effort but again if he is your standout then you may need to look at your roster.
He has had two good games . I wish the rest of the team had his heart |

I did a quick check and here's a list of Dman who've had 30 or more shots with 0 or 1 goal.
Burns, Carlson, Hamilton, Gio, Parayko, Keith, Nurse, Klefbom, Letang, OEL, Subban, Truba, Faulk, Boychuk, Hedman
So I guess Hutton and MDZ are in good company - maybe I was quick to judge, frustration does that. |

They play well as a team but as far as individual talent, its few and far between |

Missed most of the game but it appears after reading the chatter here we tried hard but still wound up with the L. I think the honeymoon is over and this is how a lot of our games will go.

We just don't have those 1-2 players that can score when needed. Or a PP QB on defense for that matter. Might need to make another trade to get a sniff of that wildcard... |

Just realized how artificially high the scoring chance count is on that site... not sure how they measure it, but that seems ridiculous. The high-danger chances seems more appropriate - nucks_94
Not that I'm complaining, but flagged, although if it's offensive to you to be flaged, then please continue to quote yourself and let me know to not flag you.

You're upsetting the corsi ner..... er.... people.
Quantity might always balance out quality eventually, sometimes, in some people's opinion anyways, I'm just glad that we finally Have a coach that is putting players in spots to generate a large quantity of shots! |

I wouldnt say that yet. Bishop and Schneider won the last two games, Nucks outplayed both teams.
Pitts oddly are 8-5 while having a goal differential of -13 which is second worst in the league for goals against. Their goaltenders have been awful, if we out-shoot them the same way we did in the last two games, it could be 6-2 for the good guys. |
