They WON the game. That's what matters. Seemed like they took the foot off the gas a bit, which happens a lot in games like that. They held on for the win.

Eh, I get his sentiment...and I’m sure you understand as well.
As Fans of the team, we all want to see them play well and entertain us ... think back to ‘05 - ‘06 season...and for me the ‘70’s.

This current group of players are playing well below their collective capabilities, and largely with a boring team that is challenged to keep up with the competition...and what’s worse is too many appear to not care all that much.

It is hard to express in a way for others to accept the level of disappointment felt, without being jumped on and accused of being a non-fan...when in fact it is the Team that needs to change, not the fans. The disappointment is increased when looking to the pipeline of prospects that don’t appear to be developing as hoped, coupled with the high priced dead weight on the roster now.

Tell me this isn’t concerning, and I believe you need to pull your head out of the sand

I'm definitely not happy with the play of a lot of these guys, but it was a win, and it was fun to watch for the most part. And yeah, winning is always the most important thing, even more important than the way they played.

if you 50-20-12 and play like crap, it's better than going 20-50-12 and playing well

So i looked it up. Fubotv covers all the sabres games and gives you a pretty good selection of other channels for 45 bucks a month (after the $20 per month promo price.) i'm gonna do the free trial and make sure i can see the games, but right now i'm paying almost 140 for cable and internet, this could cut it down to $90

Why do people refuse to stream stuff? Just get a Spectrum internet, I mean, I have the bare minimum Spectrum high-speed internet at 14.99 per month and I get speeds of like 2.5 mbps on average, which is enough to stream even in HD.

Netflix, Hulu, everything works fine. Just search google "

It blows my mind people still pay for cable. I get that in the Southtowns and stuff, you can only get satellite, but most everywhere has an option for affordable high-speed internet.

The subreddit NHLStreams is by far the best place for streams, minimal ad overlays and 90% of the time both home and away feeds are available (the NHL.tv stream)

I just want to watch games on my tv in my living room without hooking up a laptop or streaming through my PS4. I don't mind paying for the content I want but Spectrum sucks at tiering channels. God help the cable companies if networks cut them out and starting offering themselves a la cart via an app

I can understand ppl not being happy that the Yotes almost came back, but yes holy hell they won, NHL doesn't give style points, you score more you win, period.
Sometimes you gotta win ugly, its not great but it got the job done last night.

I personally see them trending in the right direction, for all the praise they get, we are only 6 points behind TO with one less game played.

Im not happy that we are below 500 but a lot of our players seem to be getting on track.
I could care less if this sounds like an "excuse" I just like to cheer for my team and hope they turn things around.
