Our ice has been a disaster the last 2 games. Players on both teams wiping out and looking down at the ice after getting up. It was happening in the same spots often... just inside centre blue line, down the half boards.

Some players obviously have a worse time with it..

It is supposed to be beautiful but can be pretty rough at this time of year, definitely an option for the summer. The train sticks to the waterline most of the way to Seattle, supposed to be very scenic.


If you want to talk epic ferry trips, the ferry from Port Hardy to Prince Rupert is stunning! We were lucky to get a clear, warm summer day. Unforgettable!!

That’s the best experience ever, one year we were returning from the Arctic and went through the Aleutian Islands. We stopped in Dutch Harbour to allow some off and fly home. I was watching all these crab and pollock boats coming into harbour (the deadliest catch guys), thinking this isn’t looking good, those guys only come in under extreme conditions, well we weighed anchor and ended up in 75-80 foot seas, awesome experience.

Easily the best part of TSN 1040. After the Sports Market, the rest just seem to drone on. I wish they would realize that Don Taylor is no Icon and let him our to pasture.

I will be taking that ferry from Prince Rupert next Friday, going to a course in Victoria for 3 weeks. Not the summer cruise that I have enjoyed several times, but still enjoyable.
Hoping to catch some Royals games while I am there.

Rumour has it, you own a bridge and free rent to Canucks fans.

Some place called West Shore, pretty reasonable and fairly close to where I need to go. Has kitchenettes so that helps. Checked out the Airbnb and found most were a little pricey, or location didn't work.
