There were at least two occasions that I had to do a double take to make sure the player showing some real speed had the number 23 on his back

Sam played a pretty good game. 1 assist o +/- in 14:05 of play. Maybe 3rd line center with limited minutes against the worst team in the league is his comfort zone . He had a nice pass and some chemistry. He was skaking well. I won't be hiding, acting like I never criticized him, if he turns his career around. Good win , need to beat dallas.

everyone not named kane, Eichel or Pominville was struggling and some still are

I am happy to be here. One of our teams won a game last night that they were expected to win. I'll take that.
