plus goals isn't the best way to judge him, he's a playmaker |

I think he should stay over there for two years, he'll be that much better when he gets to Vancouver. - LeftCoaster
Thats seems a little unnecessary? By comparison, Nylander, who currently has the record for most points (PPG) in the SHL by a D+1 player at 20pts in 21 games played half the year there then the next half in the AHL getting used to the bigger ice surface. Then in his D+2 played the first half in the A, then called up and has been a mainstay in To every since.
There's no evidence that he'll be any better by staying. I don't see why EP cant have the same trajectory, given the fact he's arguably a better prospect. I just don't buy the argument of "leave him there, we're in no rush." If he's ready, bring him over, let him play. |

No Jared McIsaac? checked top 5 rounds and he isn't on list. Also I believe this site goes off of current standings for draft position. |

Just watched the game:
Boeser has excellent instincts with the puck, he shoots from anywhere and gets it on net. If he can improve his skating and quickness he is going to be great.
The Sutter line was effective defensively, but like every other line except BBB, virtually no scoring chances. This team is still a one line team, it’s just a different line now.
Gudbranson was not a force out there. Watch him the defensive zone when the Pens are cycling, he looks totally lost. He might have been credited with 8 hits, but he was just OK last night.
When Edler is ready Biega comes out. It’s not even a question. Biega shouldn’t be playing every game...
Markstrom was real good, and a little lucky.
Hopefully Virtanen is learning how to be a better pro from the twins, but his game is going to die if he doesn’t get some better linemates... |

Agreed. But I think we have an irrational(or is it rational? lol) fear with this franchise and high end prospects and some people would prefer if he stays away until he's NHL ready like Boeser |

part of the challenge is the microscope here. a prospect in the Canuck lineup stumbles a bit, it is a big deal, gets benched or press box its a big deal, sent back down and is a bust... |

This draft reminds me of the 2015 draft where i'll take anyone in the top 30. Would be real nice if JB could pick another early 2nd rounder. If Van doesn't have one. |

Missed that. Can't see him dropping that far. HI'm Wilde and Dahlin will be number 1 defensemen. |

Next year I expect Sedins Vanek and one more gone via trade and Goldobin Gaudette in and maybe Pettersson
On D maybe OJ if ready replaces Hutton but Hutton sticks with the team at #7
And Demko up |

I'd be down with that as long as they earn their spots like JV/Boeser did this year and Stecher last year.
I don't think Demko will be up until the year after though. Unless one of the Swedes really poop the bed this year and are waived/traded by next year. |

I think Gaudette will be ready just like BB. This is his third year so he should be ripe. He did stand out at the young stars this year.
Goldobin seems to be doing very good and putting up numbers. Dahlen could challenge him or even Boucher. I have NG as the front runner right now.
Demko seems ready |
