Actually...

Last game one of the guys in the press box suggested to me that Biega has trouble controlling the puck for shots because his stick is too long for him.

I kept an eye on that and I think he has a point. The extra length helps give him a bigger defensive footprint, but it's tougher for him to be accurate when he sends pucks toward the net.

I like Biega's heart and intelligence a lot but I don't think we're ever going to see him putting up points.

My point was that on a team who's leading scorer last year had 52 points, blaming a depth dman for scoring woes when Tanev has a career high 20 points and Gudbranson has a career high 13 is laughable.

In comparison, Biega's 11 points in 100 games isn't so bad. I'm not really looking for my 3rd pairing Dmen to provide the offensive spark, i rely on forwards for that.
