I don't think that can be determined yet, what if those kids turn out to be nothing? Too many unknowns to pass judgement, at least for me, but I do see your point.

For sure, this would just be another strike against Dorian.

Boucher is a damn good coach, but Dorian has made some weird moves.

That's not a good way to judge paid market value. What if I traded a 1st rounder for a 7th rounder and the 7th round kid I drafted turned into a Jannik Hansen and the 1st rounder i traded away to the other team turned into Nicklas Jensen.

It was still a stupid trade by me, but I guess I won the deal.

Dorian certainly overpaid, seems to be a rookie GM thing, he wanted that guy, so he got him.

Short term he lost, long term, who knows.

Edmonton = they are able to lose trades in a landslide, and not get called out on it because they have a top 2 player in the world.

Chiarelli was doing so good and now he's screwing it all up again. Man he took over a complete mess in Edmonton. It's a month into the season, they've had some injuries and they're too talented to stay bad, they'll turn it around.
