ROR has 12 points in 14 games, he came out slow

Risto I agree with, he is a good #2 maybe even a great #2

Kane has 13 points in 14 games

Not that I disagree completely with you but on 2 of your points the issue isn't those players aren't performing, it's the forwards other than Kane, Eichel, Pomminville, and ROR aren't performing.

Secondary scoring on this team has been an issue the last two years. Still waiting for a defensemen to score a goal.

Still waiting for Okposo to realize the season started and the same goes for Reinhart.

Like 365 said unfinished sounds more like it. They do not need to blow it up, but they do need to get a defensemen somehow to be that #1 guy.
