I never said other things shouldn't be talked about. But people are talking in length about Gudbrandsons turn overs when it was two massive mistakes by Tanev and Hutton that cost us the game. Nobody talks about that, Guddy made a few mistakes, but they did not cost us them game so why focus on that as the reason why we lost.

Hot topic now since Shannon stirred the rumor pot.

I'm OK with Tanev out there (even with the own goal) for the shutdown role but Hutton should not have been put in that situation.

Ok, perhaps I misread it, or misinterpreted what you were trying to say? "The only mistakes that should be talked about in length are the ones that turn into a goal against."

If player A is continually giving the puck away, but has been lucky enough for those turnovers not to turn into goals against "yet", I think it's fair to suggest that at some point those will turn into goals against.

I specifically said "in length". That does not mean we shouldn't talk about other things from the game, but we focus on one player even though they weren't the main problem last night. Mistakes were made all around, but most of them didn't turn into goals.

If there is blame to put on loss or results it shouldn't be a particular player as the whole team had issues. Which means TG failed to make enough adjustments. Also deployment choice with a minute left backfired.

If there was a time to shake up team bringing in Gaunce to play against heavier Flames would fit. I'd sit Burmi or Gagner.

Martinez won't be traded, he doesn't belong on this list since LA will need him for playoffs.

If I were Benning I would look at a Guddy + Baerschi for Galch + cond 3rd(if they make playoffs we get 2nd)

.@botchford on Gudbranson: They will not be willing to lose him for nothing, because that would mean admitting to a pretty big mistake

Boucher called up and allowed to exceed roster because of NHL rule where Nilsson not available because of expecting baby.

I'm bummed that Del Zotto didn't get to hear his goal song last night, but looking forward to seeing Jagr back in the lineup tonight - and hoping Thatcher Demko starts - vs. the Flames.
