If Sakic sees D as a big priority as he should & he’s still dealing to rebuild the AV’s we could get those picks IMO

EG will be no rush to move & JB could be sly & play that card when teams r in a bidding war as the TDL nears.

Hank and Danny are not defensive liabilities. Until they are, no consideration of scratching them.

To me, the connection to Zetterberg is moot. Look at how Yzerman changed in his final year(s) to a checking role or a fourth line offensive role.

I think if we retain half the cap, he's going to be a valuable add at 1.75 for a rental. I'd love to see the leaves overspend for him. Connor Brown would be unreal. Tanev for Marner I could also stomach.
