I listened to the interview on the way home. I have no doubt he resigns Benning. Kept saying injuries were what held this team back and that Benning had a tough job.


Can't figure out if I dread the Benning or Gudbranson resigning more.

Botch is credible. Unlike us he has inside sources that feed him legit information of stuff going on inside the org. Contrary to our belief, TL/JB do care what fans/critics think. They will do what they feel is going to make this team better, but stuff they are kicking tires on will get leaked so they can see what others think about it. If a move they are iffy on gets dissected by an outside analyst, that can add to their decision going forward.

I’m not so sure Botchford is credible, I can see that he would get some inside info from maybe low level Canuck staff, or media colleagues, I cannot see Linden or Benning giving anything to Botchford. The man is scathing in his articles about the team, he makes up BS worse than Tanner.

The guy is arrogant, egotistical and a fear monger. If he was credible he would be featured on Murphy’s intermission spots, they have everyone but Botchford, Pratt, Gallagher, you know those real credible sources.
