the no name D did a fine job last night - homiedclown
The D was a mess early. They were scrambling around the whole first period. Lehner played well. Nice stacked pads save. D came on late. |

It's funny, Jack was he best player on the ice for sure, but also played an extremely sloppy game.He fumbled the puck thru out the game. He could have had 6 points last night.
Sam got blasted, adjusted his helmet, watched mccabe take on wilson, went to the bench.
Question is: who on the board would have reacted the same way? What would/should he have done then, or later in the game.
Sam was noticeable in a good way - Boss34
Jack took Eller's and Orpik's lunch money by outworking them on Kane's 1st goal. When he hustles, he's dominates. Like the empty netter at the end, if he took off, he would've blew past Carlson. That could've been a costly turnover. |

I agree with the empty netter, he was looking pass all the way, needed to put the game away, especially at home |

Interesting, but wonder who would entertain the salary given his current production. Tbh, I'd keep Kane over Okposo even though he has started looking better again. Kane was always the more talented player, just a hot head. If we can move Okposo that frees up needed space for a defenseman. Hope your bird is right...and successful. |

I am hearing devils and vegas
if we took a bad short term contract, nucks
but botts is getting flooded with calls for Kane, 7 or 8 teams daily
the birds have been silent the past few weeks, but chirps are starting to creep in the air |

I hear kyle isnt "waiving sh*t" , young family: just settling in buffalo. It's about family, that's why he signed here. His kid's Grandparents are close bye. Part of choosing buffalo was his lock tight "NTC". |

Same here. Like some stuff but he was one of only a few shows I ever walked out of because I was bored. |

Hm. I sort of like it, but I think Okposo has more tread on the tire/better bang for the buck than Staal. On the other hand, I so badly want moulson gone yesterday.
This is a fun one |

He must have also signed a "Not give 100% clause" also known as the Matt Moulson clause. |

I hope the next lockout (ugh) brings non-performance clauses that allows owners to get out of bad contracts without cap penalties.
Give each team one performance buyout every other year. Stipulations are written into contracts upon signing |

Big difference : tmgm needed to hit the cap floor. The moulson's had already been a "billet" family in the nhl. Mceichel was going to live with them.
Training and diet not up to nhl standard.
Okposo had free agaent options. Just had a life changing, (near death) experience in the icu. When you have kids, it's about their future too. To say kyle lacks effort is false. He's finally gaining confidence. He's a warrior. Trains like a beast. By the end of November, he'll be every ones favorite again.
