Aparently Green is pretty particular about having his defensemen play to their handedness, otherwise i could see Stecher sitting until Pouliot stops impressing.
I wonder if Gaunce could clear waivers, with the team clicking it would make sense to keep the forward group intact - NorthNuck
Would be very short sighted if he did. Every coach prefers lhd on the left and rhd on the right. The NHL doesn't give you that luxury, you ice the best team you can and Biega is below every other dman on our team. |

Did he grow up within a 5KM radius of John Tavares? |

Agree if all 3 of Stecher, Edler and LE are back with no further injuries then Biega is best candidate to waive. Gaunce should be kept as extra forward to rotate in for grittier games. Burmi same for opposite reasons. Stecher and Pouliot can rotate in and out of D based on performance. |

Aren't Bennett and Virtanen co-leaders in the Bieber fan club... |

I'm just glad you are not the GM cause you would rather waive Stecher then Biega. |

NO one goes on waivers - reassign Boucher and Wiercioch, problem solved - 1970vintage
Edler, Stecher and Eriksson are on IR. Weircioch and Boucher only clear 2 roster spots, unless I am missing something.
I cant recall what they were carrying at the start of the season, 8D, 13F? If thats the case then I'd go down to 7D, 14F and dare someone to take Biega |

The whole problem was that they kept Stecher in the NHL last year and ruined his development. The same approach that was taken with Vitanen and Goldobin should have been used on Stecher.
I'm not sure I would keep Stecher over Biega, or Biega over Stecher, but I like Biega toughness and ability to handle himself along the boards better than Benny Hill Stecher.. |

You can see Whitelie independently arrived at the same conclusion on numbers and that Stecher has more value and talent then Biega for who to place on waivers. |
