what is more valuable; the hope diamond or tanev's value to the canucks? - RealityChecker
The hope diamond is worth 200+ million and there's probably another one out there somewhere, Chris Tanev on the other hand, not so much....he's defintely a "one-off" |

Tanev is obviously is a massive loss and has a trickle down effect on the entire defense, but to use that as an excuse against a depleted Ducks roster is wrong.
There's literally no way anyone can argue this without looking stupid. - Nucker101
Yet there is literarily no way anyone can sound obtuse by missing the point.
Any Canuck on this team now can have a bad night and the team can still do well. But if Tanev is off the team melts. With Tanev out the team has no answers and is in shambles.
TG will need some practices and major adjustments to find a way to function at least nominally without Tanev. |

BTW....I'm in the process of growing a beard and noticed how great captain obvious's beard is. Great inspiration, thanks! - LeftCoaster
I always thought it was fake.
Zetterberg's is great..I wish I could grow one like that.

Sounds like he deserves a Hart nomination. Guy is literally more valuable to us than a projected playoff team's top 2 centers, top dman, and starting goalie all combined. |

What's more asinine comparing hockey players to diamonds or ridicule as a sign of intelligence? |

I laugh at you too when I see your GMing... and ability to evaluate... didn't notice you have any players from the top 5 producing lines where I got 4/5. But you like to complain how things are unfair stomp around about quitting and state how much you know better then everyone. - Nuck4U
I think it's getting awfully close to being time, for a time, out for you.
I'm going to count to three.

The key is to keep it well groomed or else you like a hobo like Brent Burns.

always with the wrong comparison.... its the value of Tanev to the Canucks... why didn't mention Stecher and LE because they are replaceable. - Nuck4U

why don't you call him the savior while you are at it with that contrived cross comparison analogy that has nothing to do with it. I'll take a knee now so you can belch your anthem out. |

He has been for ahwile now. He's not going to look like Bieksa/Sbisa, but he doesn't really shutdown top end players(unless paired with Tanev) or create offense. |
