He's been hurt, not a healthy scratch.
McCann has been playing well before he missed some games with injury. He returned for one game but then left practice mid way through the day before their Carolina game, and is now out again.

hahaha I did notice that and thanks for posting the lists. Veleno is definitely not putting up the numbers you'd expect from a highly touted prospect, especially in the Q.

I'm hoping the Canucks draft an offensive minded D, so far I like the Samuelsson's, Mattius over Adam, Bode Wilde, Evan Bouchard and Jett Woo and I'm not interested in Merkley (Stecher lite)

He was the best player on that team for the Ivan u18 tournament in the summer. For a player with exceptional status it does seem odd he is only a ppg player. From what i've seen I think he has a much more rounded game then a lot of Q players do. I don't know if the upside is there to make him a lock for a top 10 pick. He may be like Barzal and end up more around mid first.

Historically, Jared McCann is an injury prone bust, good thing we got rid of him before he flopped.

The kid has more offensive talent at 17 than stetcher does at 23. He has defensive holes sure, but that can be taught. at 5:11 180lbs he has room to fill in. Could be a Shattenkirk type in the future. Would be a great partner for OJ in the future.
