Haha, not at all these days. I've lived in the Suburbs of Quesnel mostly. I'm just outside of city services like Cable and high speed net although it's making its way to many of the backroads... it all fkn stops just a couple of KMs down my road and i'm on the back side of the valley shadowed from all the cel towers... my property does back on crown land and my road truns into a logging road about 400m away so I even hear wolves and occasionally see mountain lion tracks but I still have houses close to me and everything.

2004/2005 I lived out in the bush around crazy Horsefly. fkn throw back gold miners and draft dodgers populated that place... had people in the middle of the night demanding their way into my place... turned them away with a rifle. Kept the rifle at the door because a grizzly attacked a neighbours horse and I had wolves kill a calf moose in one of my fields. Got trapped in there during the winter when the bridge out got swepts away when an ice dam broke... I wasnt staying for a 3rd winter lol...
I felt safer living on skid row in the 80's

oh good.

so i take back some of my criticism of benning over the years. drafting isn't really his problem. player development was.

seems like he might be turning the corner there. might need a couple more years to see how things play out.

Where the difficulty lie was JB had too many players to move when he started out but since the initial year he has changed the roster up a ton. Since the past TDL he has stocked up prospects & vets much better. This is truly the 1st year of the rebuild & lots of season is left. Depth increase has helped mostly but we are still 1-2yrs away from seeing if JB has turned us around. So far so good.

Do you really figure Tanev is hurt? I find it kind of interesting all of a sudden an injury occurs just as Edler returns. We have seemed to have a lot of that the last few years.

Good chance to see who is who and how others play when top guys are gone.

But really the threads died down when we started to get along.

Carlton the Bear met my friend outside the ACC for a pic after losing a bet. He posted the pic now but it must have been during the last game.

My buddy is a street scalper at the ACC and works 6 days a week... he has all kinds of little games going on with ACC staff. Even the players and coaches stop to joke around with him... except Kadri who comes and goes from the ACC like a silverfish.
