Fair, but when the Sabres are winning to end a period, fans should be cheering. They showed a highlight of Lehner's awesome save in the first right after it happened, and I swear to go, no exaggeration, nobody cheered.

I blame the local sports media for making fans think they're entitled to a good experience.

That's B.S.. the players feed off the energy in the crowd, and when people don't even stand and cheer for a Sabres goal (which I also saw tonight) that's plain embarassing

I said it a little over a month ago, the entire environment at the Harbor Center is toxic. Believe it yet anyone?

No it’s really not, jack needs to be an impact player... he’s not been this year... sure he has some nice plays but to be the #1 guy he needs those to turn into 5-7 plays a game when you say did you see that play he made even if they don’t result in goals.

Your not old enough to see gilbert Perreault but every time he was on the ice you thought he could score, same for patty La la, mogilny etc. if jack can’t produce that kind of impact the Sabres made a huge mistake giving him that contract.

When the Sabres are winning at the end of the period, or they're about to go on the powerplay, or they're trying to tie it up in the third with 5 to go, fans should be loud

They should be on their team's side

I was embarrassed at the jaded, negative, so-called fans I saw tonight.

Like I said earlier, I was in the 200s directly below the camera guys and they spent the entire game ripping on our players, and whenever dadonov or huberdeau (sp?) We're in the zone, they would call out their names like they were vying to be right about which opposing player was about to score.

The atmosphere in the arena is toxic and embarassing, and fans are partially culpable for the failures on home ice
