I think Jack would probably shoot quite a bit more if say Girgensons was his LW and not Kane
Kane leads the NHL in shots/game

There’s some merit to the point Gerbe is trying to get across

However...
Without looking it up, I think Jack probably got a lot of points on the PP last year
So with it struggling this year,
It’s only natural that it would affect Jack’s stats as well

I don’t think it’s just 1 thing that has Jack’s stats “down”
Let’s not freak out either though
Jack’s ppg last year was .934
This year it’s .875

I think he’ll be just fine

Gerbe, interesting analysis. Right from the first (non) goal called back for the offside vs. Ottawa in the opener 2 years ago, I felt similarly.

Kane is playing above expectations and putting it all together. But he does carry the puck and shoot from all angles still. This definitely effects eichels goal scoring numbers and shots on net.

Could someone explain why sam isn't with Jack and kane? Only answer : contract related to 23.
