Bill will they call up another defenseman before they leave on this next road trip or will they figure on taking Morin with them in hopes he is ready in time if needed? |

Morin won't be ready. He is still about a week away, per Ron Hextall. He's back on the ice but hasn't rejoined practice yet with the Phantoms.
If they recall a defenseman for the games in Minnesota and Winnipeg, it will probably be Alt. |

Amen, I thought maybe a Rock N Roll Express reference at the end I might find. Still very impressive by Bill.

I sure miss the old days of wrestling with Mid-Atlantic Championship Wrestling, Georgia Championship Wrestling, etc. Anyway, I hope my guy Manning has a good game tonight. I think the way the D pairs are set up are pretty solid, so hopefully the coaches let them roll this way and gel a bit.
It will be interesting to see what happens when AMac comes back, but I assume Manning will go back to his #7 role(if Sanheim continues to play well). |

not sure, but i think stalock has had some success against the flyers regardless of what team he played for...so that concerns me a bit. but i like the flyers chances, being well rested, and the wild are a tired team, plus having some confidence after handling chicago 2 nights ago.
would really like to see that 2nd line get going, and another strong game from elliott. |

With Patrick out, I'd think about tweaking the lines a bit. Yeah, I know coaches rarely make changes after wins, but they are really a one line team right now. Sure the 4th line generates chances, but the line lacks a good finisher to take advantage of them. With that in mind, I'd try:
The usual top line
TK-Filppula-Weal
TK was really driving play last game and Weal is always strong on the puck and has good skills. Perhaps putting them together gives the Flyers another line that can generate some offense at ES
Leier-Laughton-Simmonds
Leier and Laughton have been relentless on the forecheck and maybe Simmonds can crash the net and give them someone to finish.
Raffl-Lehtera-Weise
I'd rather have a decent possession player with size like Raffl with these 2 than a speedy skill guy like Weal. Hopefully this line will at least hold its own in the 8-10 minutes it's out there.

Man there were a lot of Blackhawks fans the other night. I was playing at Xfinity and couldn't believe how many people in blackhawks jersies were around. |

UWF in 85 was also very good, had too short of a run. |

I was kind of surprised by the number of Chicago jerseys in the crowd, too. I went to the game vs. Edmonton and there were a lot of Oiler jereys there as well, and not all of them were of recent vintage. Among the old school Oiler jerseys, I spotted a Semenko jersey. |

To the question on Martel he doesn't really make sense as a recall unless he was replacing a guy like weal tk or Jake. |

I would try Weal at 3C between two big bodies. He was a center on the Phantoms.

Raffl-Weal-Weise

Chicago gets a ton of national exposure. Their forced down your throat so if you're new to the sport, chances are you might gravitate towards them. Especially getting to watch Kane.
Plus they have the second greatest logo in professional sports, so if it's just a style thing, you have that. |

Raffl internationally was a center as well. If I remember he was killer in the faceoffs circle |

Raffl is not quite lighting the scoresheet, he has the same amount of points as Matt Read in 12 more games....0 |

Although maybe not a popular sentiment, but I would switch Raffl with Martel.
