It's going to be so Buffalo when the bill see enough to not draft a quarterback and yet again will be drafting the QB in 4 years |

If Darnold doesn't come out, the class is weaker.
There are easily 5 teams before Buffalo that will need to take a QB. |

I'm at the point that you have to draft a QB I'm sick of people saying it's a week class and then look what happen last year and the year before |

I'm just saying there is no reason to trade two firsts for a QB this year.
Gotta get lucky like Dallas |

The Eagles did it no one thought Carson Wentz was going to be the best QB in the league at that time
When the draft rankings finally come out at the end they're going to have the QB's in the first round like they always do and we're most likely going to have to trade up |

That RARELY happens.
Giants fans are thinking that Davis Webb is going to be the future the odds of that happening are slim to none.
Most teams with good QB's get them in the high end of the first round. Guys like Derek Carr and Andy Dalton, and Russel Wilson are exceptions.
Guys like Brady are RARE exceptions.
The jury is still out on Dak. |

I would still take Dak on this team.
I'm just looking for a competent QB.
You have to take chances on a QB, and if there isn't a DEAD LOCK QB, take a chance where ever you are. |

Top line is performing, second line needs a LW, 3rd line is fine with Pouliot and Pominville, but needs a center. 4th line is terrible. That's 5 forwards by my estimation.
I don't get why Girgs is getting a pass. Everyone is saying he's playing well this year, but he has 3 points in 15 games. Time to move on - jcragcrumple
Not every player is gonna score 50 goals and 100 points a year, grigs is doing well for what should be expected, if you think you are going to get a 20-20 from him, I don't think he will ever live up to that. |

Sure, he is a streaky player, just like every other guy in the league, so when he's not scoring you really don't notice him in the O-Zone, because he rarely plays there. - Wetbandit1
Exactly
Even Crosby just went 11 games without scoring
It literally happens to every guy in the league
I get ppl are frustrated,
but there’s just way to much overreacting on here |

Beyond the fact that he's on pace for 5 goals, he doesn't bring physicality like you could, he can't stay on his feet and he's not fast. I can find someone to be fast and score 5 goals a year. This team needs a change on the bottom lines and he's totally expendable |

Fair.
There is no dead lock on a QB, but there is a spot where the statistical likelihood is WAY higher than anywhere else and that's within the top five picks.
After that it drops.
However, when you whiff, it's BAD. Because it either cost you a ton to get there or you're so committed that you stink for the next three years, often longer. |

I know every time I hope for you guys. I remember how I felt in 04 when all that the Giants traded for Eli was read off.
I was like, "Is this guy ever going to stop reading picks?" |

Does it really matter if we whiff? Every single draft pick we had has been a bust or just leave
Hell I would draft a QB and every round this year

It's good to have an open discussion and I am super negative on sam. He fits in great with eichel. Want to like him moving forward :
My understanding is:
He can be a complete dueshebag off the ice at times. Self centered and entitled.
He really didn't fit or stand out on the 3rd line
He/his agent were looking/ comparing him to ryan johansen. 8 years 8 per. Ryan plays center and was the 4th pick a few years back.
His agent projected sam to be 60 point guy moving forward
The sabres basically said we aren't even going there. Let's see: how you do at center, On your own.
Jbotts knows that he can produce with Jack.
Sabres want him long term, but he needs to be realistic about his contract. Pretty sure Homie relayed the same information.
He got a little spanking and hopefully an ego/reality check, playing with out our generational talent and bikemate/housemate
