Our competition for the last playoff spot is with the Raiders, Miami & Baltimore, all 4-5

If we finish 8-8, then for us to miss the playoffs...

Raiders must go 5-2
-there’s just no way that’s happening with their remaining schedule

Miami must go 4-3
-but would likely have to beat us twice to get the tiebreaker

Baltimore must go 4-3
-they might end up with the tie break over us
*they’re the biggest threat imo

But if we can finish 9-7,

At the beginning of this season,
it was far more likely we’d miss the playoffs than make it (and the 11-5 talk was utter nonsense)

The turnovers the defense created early on won us some games we likely would’ve lost
And that’s given us a chance,
while teams like Oakland, Denver, SD & Cinci have all struggled this year & not lived up to what was expected of them

That has opened the door for the Bills

But we still aren’t good
Still plenty of holes & lack of depth
Probably lose in the 1st round,
since we'll be playing at KC, PIT or NE

And we still need a “franchise” QB...

Peterman was at 50% completions in the preseason vs backups playing Vanilla defenses

I’m ok with him getting this start
If he looks good, play him again
If not, we are still trying to win games THIS season
