Good idea JT, just delete all the posts that don't shine you in a favorable light! That's great! A blogger that invites controversy, in fact practically begs for it and then turns around and has the audacity to have inconvenient posts that call BS on you deleted.

Now that's true character right there.

Tanner had nothing to do with the deleted posts, and in fact he also has posts that are deleted.

I suggest you familiarize yourself with the code of conduct and post accordingly.

How about you guys fix the site and it’s redirects and THEN worry about user’s posts.

Edit: I don’t mean for this to be harsh, it’s just absolutely crap that EO and Ek deny they know anything about it multiple times but it happens on an hourly basis.

I have. Never a response besides “sorry, we dunno what you’re talking about”. You’re middle management here, can’t you at least push this uphill towards the money makers?

How about you keep politics off of a hockey site? Bloggers like Tanner think their political opinion is actually wanted. Thanks
Edit; Not you specifically of course

Honestly these supposed hockey bloggers focus half their blogs on politics. Nobody cares and believe it or not a lot of people don't agree with their opinion and don't want to read it when they go to a hockey site to discuss well... hockey not politics. God forbid you engage one of these guys in a political debate that they instigate and you of course prove them wrong. They do the stereotypical thing and you get banned.

Thanks for the input, as there are so few refs monitoring the entire site, and are volunteers that actually have jobs and family lives to deal with. I would recommend that if you do not like Tanners blogs, or what he writes, do not engage by making comments that will only inflame the situation. Quite simple really, don't like it, don't respond

The refs have no authority over bloggers and the content in their blogs, although we do have control over the posts and the people posting.

I have deleted several posts in these blogs that take on political form. I have deleted both poster and bloggers comments. I have seen another ref lock down a blog because it was based on a political rant.

I am familiar with it, and a lot of posts that get deleted are harmless banter and I'm guessing that the blog writers have the power to delete posts if they so wish.

And like a few others have said, some bloggers want us to engage in their rhetoric (especially guys like JT who like to bait) and when we do, out come the deleted posts and the bans.

Sorry bud, bloggers can not delete posts, and this is a hockey site. If you can’t abide by the CoC rules you will be banned. Try to have some self restraint and not be baited, it’s not really that hard.

It's just brutal. I can't imagine being a Coyotes fan and being asked to pony up my hard earned cash to see this. When I was a kid the Devils did plenty of losing but there were a bunch of weak teams and it didn't seem quite as horrific as this. This has just been going on too long. Every year it's the same 'Arizona is going to be better' routine and every year it's awful. #sad.... as our president would say.

Maybe keeping Doan would have been better.

To be fair, it's not that much cash to see the yotes play. Only a little more then the major junior team in my hometown.

Doan would have at least shielded some of the heat off the young players. Local fans and media loved him.

The real question; will this be the end of analytics being taken seriously in hockey after Chayka gets fired? The focus on it killed the Panthers last year and probably ruined their window to be competitive with their core. Now the Yotes are off to the worst start ever. Congratulations, even worse then the early 90s Sens.

There is no referendum on analytics. 100% of hockey teams use them. The Panthers bailing on a new philosophy after about two months of bad results (with a crazy amount of injuries) remains one of the most short sighted, stupidest things a professional sports team has ever done.

The Coyotes will be fine.
