looking at the Draft prospects there are quite a few d-men under 6'.... Not sure I want to go there.... Sportsnet only has 7 d-men over 6' in the top 31 picks... ouch..

I would tell my GM to be wary of market trends. Fast, small puck movers are the hot item du jour, so look at bigger Dmen that you can get value on in the 2nd and 3rd round.

I don't want Guhle anywhere near this mess. Let him stay in Rochester and develop in a winning environment, not a circus.

Botts obviously knows that this is a lost season when it comes to making the playoffs, so there is no point bringing him up just to play on a bad team. He already had a taste for 4 games last year too.

Isn't it pretty sad though that he is basically the only real prospect they have on defense playing in Rochester? Borgen and Fitzgerald are in college, but neither are high-end prospects. The more you dig and the more you think about it -- then look at how talented Tampa is, just makes ya realize just how far the Sabres really are from being even average... Thanks, Tim Murray!

Do you have a disability that makes it impossible for you to clean up after yourself? It's really not that difficult or time consuming so long as you do it regularly enough.

There's still room in the game for big guys too, though. I'm just saying, if everyone is looking at small fast guys, let those guys get taken at the top and you can find better value. The other teams will be chasing diminishing returns throughout the early rounds as the small guys keep getting picked and the big guys will be there later.

Exactly. It's possible for guys to be taller than 6' and still be speedy. Last time I checked, McDavid is over 6' and probably the fastest skater in the league.
